The news of metalsmith/artist Mari Funaki passing last evening is sending me into disbelieve. She is an amazing woman, beautiful soul, and most of all a talented metal artist. She believed in the Austrlian contemporary jewellery and its place in the world. She will be sorely missed but always remembered.
